The 16-4 Leicester Riders are taking on the 15-7 Newcastle Eagles in our St Patricks day game this Friday in the BBL Championship. With the head to head on the line it promises to be another tightly contested game between the 2 teams.
The doors open at 6:00pm with the game tipping off at 7:30 as the Riders #GoGreen for one game only. Be sure to get down to the Morningside Arena nice and early to make the most of what is sure to be a great evening of BBL action.
Food and Drink
Food and Drink will be available from the near side of both the Granby and Victory stands. There will be a large variety of both food and drink options on with burgers, hotdogs and vegetarian options all available as well as alcoholic, hot and soft drinks for sale. Guinness will also be available for one game only.
The Leicester Riders Supporters Club will be running their Tuck Shop, this will be located in its usual spot between Castle and Victory Stand.
Gelato Village will also be returning for this game. They will be selling their Gelato from the far Side of Victory Stand towards Victory Bar at £3.50 for a 3 scoop serving.
Shirt off the back competitions
There will be a raffle to win Conner Washington’s St Patrick day jersey. The Riders cheerleaders will be selling tickets from 6-7:15 as well as a table selling them as you enter the arena.
At half time we will be celebrating the success of the Leicester Riders Women’s team winning the WBBL Trophy for a second consecutive season. In addition to the Riders Women we will also have a special appearance from PDC Darts who are brining their prestigious Paddy Champions League of Darts event to the Morningside Arena in October. There will also be several giveaways Guinness product giveaways as well as the Leicester Riders Cheerleaders performing throughout the game
Merchandise will be on sale throughout the evening selling a wide range of Riders products such as jerseys, T-shirts, caps and scarfs as well as for one night only Riders St Patrick’s Day T-shirts.

Morningside Arena is well served by local transport links and an array of nearby parking options within walking distance. There are in excess of 3000 spaces available all within a 15 minute walk of the Arena. A parking attendant will be on hand on the night to direct you towards the nearest parking space.
The third edition of the Riders season guide will be sale for the first time for £3. If you didn’t purchase the other 2 editions you can purchase all 3 for just £5. Programmes will be sold in the corridor by the doors to enter the arena.
A shootout will be located at the far side of Granby Stand by Granby Bar. £1 to shoot for a minute with a prize for the person with the highest score at the end of the 3rdquarter.
