The Leicester Riders BBL fixture against Durham Wildcats became the latest in a host of sell out games of the reigning Champions.
Tickets sold out in advance of opening the doors on Saturday night resulting in capacity crowds for the Riders home game.
Managing Director Russell Levenston commented on the growth of the crowds at the John Sandford Centre.
“It is great that interest is so high at our home games! The Riders have always had such passionate fans in Leicester, it has been huge contribution to our success in recent years. As a club, we continue to push forward towards a larger arena so that we can cater for growing interest in basketball in the area however until such time I urge all fans to buy their tickets in advance of the game to avoid disappointment.”
