Leicester Riders took victory over the Bristol Flyers on the road in the BBL Championship before returning home and falling short against the Newcastle Eagles in the BBL Cup.
Leicester produced an excellent first half on the road in Bristol in which they held the home side to just 13 points, the lowest ever at the half for the young franchise.
The defensive effort early allowed the Riders to comfortably take victory on the road to improve to 3-1 in the BBL Championship.
Leicester were less fortunate in the BBL Cup, a trophy that has eluded the club for the last few seasons, as they fell to the Newcastle Eagles following a impressive first half from the visitor.
Here from Head Coach Rob Paternostro following the loss at home.
