Leicester Riders will have four members of it’s performance staff in National Team performance programmes this summer.
All four of the Riders Pathway Head Coaches will take stage with National teams this summer. Mark Jarram (Loughborough Riders), Krumesh Patel (Loughborough Riders), Will Maynard (Charnwood College Riders) and Jesper Sundberg (Leicester Riders Women) are all in action on the sideline this summer.
Loughborough Riders Head Coach Mark Jarram will be back on the side lines with Great Britain U18 Men as they face the tough task of the Division A European Championship this summer.
Coach Jarram grabbed his fourth BUCS title with Loughborough this season as well as securing the National Cup for the first time and is looking forward to the task this summer.
“It’s always exciting and a real privilege to coach for your National Team.
“We have the same staff this summer so there will be some nice consistency and we look forward to the challenges ahead.”
Charnwood College Riders Girls and Loughborough Riders Women’s Head Coach Krumesh Patel returns for his second season as Great Britain U20 Women’s Assistant Coach joined with former Riders Coach Marg Jones for the summer.
“Really excited to be back with GB U20s, we have a good group at camp so we are hoping to improve on last year. It’s a real privilege to be with the national team and something I can continue to grow and learn with.”
Head Coach Will Maynard will take up a role as Great Britain U16 Men’s Assistant Coach after leading Charnwood College Riders to the EABL title for the first time and is looking forward to the opportunity.
“Really excited about the opportunity to represent Great Britain for the first time as a chance, it’s a privilege to be selected to coach a National Team.
“I’m really looking forward to working with the up and coming talent in the country, and really excited about working with and learning from James and Craig who are two great coaches. We will do our upmost to get the players ready to compete.”
Leicester Riders Women’s Head Coach Jesper Sundberg will continue his role with the Swedish National Team this summer as they head to EuroBasket after already facing Great Britain, and one of his players Mollie Campbell, in warm up games.
