Leicester Riders took victory on the road to complete a 2-0 weekend in the BBL Champions to progress to 5-1 in the BBL Championship.

The Riders were able to secure a solid victory at home to Plymouth Raiders before travelling to face the league leading London Lions at the Copper Box Arena.

On Friday night JR Holder showed his scoring ability pouring in 27 points including 6 threes to catapult the Riders to victory at home following a busy stretch of games.

On the road the Riders trailed early in the game before a positive third quarter performance to draw level and then an explosive start to the fourth quarter from Josh Ward-Hibbert pushed the Riders up late in the game.

With time winding down, Lions were able to draw level at the free throw line before JR Holder was able to finish down the lane to take the victory.

Leicester Riders are back in action at home next week in the BBL as they take on the Sheffield Sharks on December 7th following the international break.
