British Forward Jamell Anderson will move on from the Leicester Riders following five seasons with the team in the British Basketball League.
Anderson, who joined the programme through the Loughborough Basketball Programme in 2011-12 season, has been with the Riders for the past five seasons and a part of the most successful period in club history.
The 26-year old Brit helped the Riders team the team to six pieces of silverware, as well as a BUCS Trophy Gold in his first season at Loughborough, during his five year stay.
“Jamell has been a great part to our team on the court over the last five seasons.” commented Managing Director Russell Levenston as he thanked Jamell for his time. “Off the court he is a very professional person who had great engagement with our fans and partners. We thank him for his time at the Riders and wish him all the best in his future career.”
In his final season with the Riders, Anderson averaged 6.8 points and 3.5 rebounds and had become known as a defensive stopper for the team.
