Leicester Riders fell to the Bakken Bears in the first leg of the Basketball Champions League Qualification Round at the Morningside Arena, 77-90.

The visitors started the game well, leaving the Riders to chase the high powered offensive team, a task they took to and draw close in the first quarter. The Bears extended the lead at the half but an offensive flurry from new import guard Deandre Burnett helped the home side to a much closer scoreline.

Burnett finished with 24 points in just 22 minutes of play, showing he will be a force in the British Basketball League this season.

Riders will now travel to Denmark for the second leg of the game on Saturday at 3pm UK time which is available to watch LIVE on FanSeat.com.
