Norwegian FIBA Europe Cup team Kongsberg Miners will come to Loughborough University next weekend to face off against NBL Division One side Loughborough Riders on Saturday and the BBL Champions Leicester Riders on Sunday.

The Loughborough Riders have visited Kongsberg, Norway for the past two season for pre-seaosn preparations and this year the Miners will travel to the UK to play two games in preparation for their FIBA Europe Cup debut this autumn.

Tickets are now on sale and available below for both games.

Loughborough Riders Head Coach Mark Jarram will take his side back to Norway this September for a third pre-season camp and is excited to host the Miners on UK soil for the first time.

“It’s an existing relationship we are pleased to continue. It’s been great to visit them the past two seasons, looking forward to a third trip, it has provided very valuable in many ways as we build our foundations for the season.

“We are excited to return the favour and welcome them to Loughborough as we host for 3 days.”

The two games against the Riders sides will take place at Loughborough University’s Sir David Wallace building, home of the Riders before moving to the Morningside Arena in Leicester.
