British-Canadian guard Kiefer Douse stepped off the plane form Toronto to pull down 10 rebounds as well dishing out four assist and crucial nine points including a buzzer beating score to take victory by just a single point.
Belgian signing Thomas De Thaey also produced a positive 20 point performance in limited time for the Riders Select in the first showing for the versatile forward.
The Riders Select showed the signs of a roster that had been assembled for the game but carried the Riders never-say-die attitude to pull themselves back into the game down the stretch and excite the fans with a victory.
