Leicester Riders have moved to re-sign the 2018 WBBL Trophy Final MVP Kate Oliver as the WBBL season continues.
Oliver joined the Riders late in the season last year help the team to make two finals and winning the first WBBL silverware for the club.
The Australian forward averaged 10.8 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per game during the WBBL Championship season last year for the Riders.
Jesper Sundberg is pleased to add another experienced former player to the line up.
“We are happy to have Kate returning to the program. She is an efficient player who knows the league and the Riders environment and will make a quick impact on the team.”
Oliver was excited to be back in Leicester with the Riders and keen to get back on the floor.
“I can’t wait to get back on the court and play the game that I’ve always loved. Looking forward to a great season with a great bunch of people.”
