“Today’s game was a lot better than Saturday’s, Oxford Brookes has previously been undefeated by Charnwood, so we really went in fighting for that win! A few ups and downs, but overall a really positive performance by everyone!” – Anna Popovic
“I thought we bounced back from Saturday’s game well by starting with a high temp and getting quick scores in transition. Our constant communication on and off the court has grown so much which boosted our defence, allowing us to keep Oxford to 44 points.” – Chloe Compton
“Really proud of the girls today. First double header of the year and they did exceptionally well in the second game. Mentally we were more focused and as a team we made improvement from yesterday. We battled through a tricky team into the Quarter finals of the national cup.” – Coach Krumesh
Charnwood will now face Essex Blades away in the Quarter Finals of the National Cup.
Final Score: 70-44
