Coach Jarram and Riders Youth on Show at #HASC18

Leicester Riders Assistant Coach and Loughborough Student Riders Head Coach Mark Jarram joined Team White at the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic this weekend.

The annual event returned to the iconic Brixton Recreational Centre in London and featured four players from the the Charnwood College programme, supported by the David Ross Education Trust, that play for the Loughborough Student Riders in NBL Division One and Three.

Charnwood College Riders stand outs Sesan Russell and Morgan Carter took the court in the Class of 2018 game with Russell coming away with victory posting 19 point, 5 rebound, 4 steals stat line and Carter pulling down five rebounds in the contest.

Leicester’s Niall Harris caught fire in the Underclassmen game posting 18 points for Team White to go along with 5 rebounds and a steal for the NBL Division Three MVP of the season. Hosana Kitenge came our victorious with Team Black in the game posting 11 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals.

Coach Jarram commented on the event following the victory with Team White.

“It was fun. Exactly what expected, a great group of guys all in one place enjoying the game they love. Awesome to connect with so many people in the basketball community.

“The game itself was competitive and fun and went all the way down to the wire. Another successful event put on by Hoopsfix!”
