Point guard Brandon Clark will not return to the Leicester Arena next season after signing for French side ALS Basket Andrézieux.
Clark had a successful spell with the Riders completing a domestic treble in his first professional season.
‘Leicester will always hold a special place for me having won the BBL treble there,’ reflected Clark.
‘Coach Rob (Paternostro) believed in me and took a chance on me after sitting a year out. He’s a great coach and even better person. Hopefully I’ll be able to play for him again somewhere down the line.’
‘It was a fantastic club to play for and I wish them all the best in the future.’
‘Next season I am going to be playing in France and I’m excited about the opportunity to play in a new country and learn their culture.’
‘I’d like to thank all the Riders fans, club and coaches who supported me through my time in Leicester.’
