Charnwood College Riders Ebony Horton has signed her National Letter of Intent to attend Binghamton University next season.

Ebony Horton is set to attend Binghamton University and join the Bearcats in the American East Conference of Division One of the NCAA next season following two years at Charnwood College and playing within the Leicester Riders player pathway.

“I am so thankful to receive this opportunity from Binghamton University,” commented Horton.

“I am so excited to continue my journey at Binghamton University and join the Bearcat family! I can’t wait to learn and grow as a player and a person, around great staff and team mates.

“It could not have been achieved without Krumesh Patel recruiting me to Charnwood and the staff within the Riders organisation; they have all done so much for me.

“The process has been hard and is still ongoing but coach Patel always told me to trust in it and has always held me to high standards, which has got me to where I am now.

“The process is not over, but a big dream that I’ve had since I was 14 has been achieved, which feels amazing and really shows if you believe in yourself good things can happen. I would like to thank Krumesh Patel for everything he has done for me and the Leicester Riders organisation, along with my family for continuously supporting me and most of all my team mates.”
