The team went on to upset Oklahoma in their opening game before falling to , where they lost to San Diego State. Wright had a short spell with WBC Raiffeisen Wels in the top Austrian league, the OBL, earlier this season as well as featuring with the NBADL’s Iowa Energy.
The versatile forward is known for stretching defenses with his inside-outside play, his high-flying style of basketball and his shot blocking abilities.
Head Coach Rob Paternostro spoke on the addition of Wright to the roster.
“TrayVonn is a long, athletic and versatile player that plays above the rim and can bring a different dimension to our team.
I think the athleticism is certainly something that jumps out at you when you watch him play. He really is an exciting player and can impact the game on both ends of the court.
He comes from a winning program and was an intelligent player and a major factor in his teams success. He is capable of making plays from many areas on the court and is a guy that we feel will fit in well with our team.”
Riders are next in BBL Championship action when they take on Glasgow Rocks at Loughborough University this Saturday night (7:30pm) and Wright is expected to be registered and cleared in time to play so be sure to click HERE and get your tickets for the game NOW!
