Leicester Riders Guard Tyler Bernardini was named to the BBL Team of the Week this week following an impressing shooting display on the road in Worcester.
The Riders’ guard makes his first appearance of the season in our starting five. Bernardini is back firing on all cylinders and that was evidenced by his majestic performance from the perimeter against Worcester Wolves. He sunk a wonderful six triples on his way to 24 points and showed the physical and hard-working side of his game by completing a double-double with 12 rebounds. Also adding three assists, it was the best contribution of the weekend anywhere in the BBL.

Jerrold Brooks (Sheffield Sharks)
The Sharks’ guard has become only the third player this season to make our fabulous five for a fourth time and joins TrayVonn Wright of Riders in chasing down current season leader Rahmon Fletcher of the Eagles. He attained his latest berth after catapulting Sheffield to an important derby success against neighbouring Leeds Force with a brilliant 33-point haul – one which was accompanied by five assists, five rebounds and four steals in a do-it-all display.
Daryl Corletto (Plymouth University Raiders)
Coreltto continues to call the tune for Raiders, with the resurgent Devon based-side fuelling their renaissance with a flurry of wins on the road. The guard starred in a dramatic overtime victory against London Lions at the Copperbox. He dropped 28 points in the capital and also showed his skills as a creator, as well as a scorer, after handing out a super seven assists. With six rebounds and two steals also to his name, it was a top night of work for the Australian.
Daniel Edozie (Bristol Flyers)
The Flyers’ forward has been central his teams revival as they lookto build up momentum as the second half of the season approaches. He was the inspiration behind a triumph at Cheshire Phoenix fter registering a colossal double-double. Edozie racked up 16 points and matched his scoring tally with 16 boards, as he commanded the glass with a brilliant nine offensive rebounds. And, as if that wasn’t enough, he also swatted four shots and dished up a couple of assists.
Scott Martin (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
It’s the third time the forward has found himself in our line-up and his latest appearance comes off the back of helping the Eagles to ease their way into yet another BBL Cup Final. In a typically assured and balanced inside-outside effort, Martin scored 20 points from an efficient 8 of 12 from the field against Cheshire Phoenix in the Semi-Final second leg at Sport Central. He also accumulated four assists, four rebounds and three blocks.
