Leicester Riders begin the BBL Cup action this weekend as they take on the London Lions at Leicester Arena at 7.30pm

The BBL Cup provides the first knockout competition of the season for the reigning BBL Champions, a competition that the Riders narrowly missed out on last season and will be looking to return to the Final this year, where they have been able to find success in the past.

The Riders will enter Saturday’s match up with the Lions following a positive start to the season despite a home loss to the Rocks in which the Riders narrowly missed out on victory down the stretch to the northern team.

One’s to Watch
Riders: New comer JR Holder has started the season well for the Riders averaging 16 points per game across the opening four games as well as 5.3 rebounds as the team continues to utilise depth. Holder has produced a number of highlights already this season and will no doubt exciting to watch this Saturday night!

London: All eyes will be on British Guard Justin Robinson as he comes to the Leicester Arena for the first time in his debut season in the BBL with the Lions. Robinson is averaging 17 points per game alongside 6.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals.
