Jamell will make the transition to being a full-time professional with the current BBL Cup Champions after graduating from Loughborough College. Jamell has had an active summer since the end of the season competing in the inaugural Hoopsfix All-star Classic in London before heading to Paris this past weekend for the Quai 54 – World Streetball Tournament.

“Paris was pretty cool, the event was really big and sponsored by Jordan so there were some big names like Melo, Scotty Pippen and Tyga around the tournament.”

Coach Paternostro praised the improvements Jamell has made in his time so far with the Riders and is pleased to see Jamell working hard in the off-season.

“Jamell has been great to coach, he has been a part of some great teams and has come along way since he first arrived. He competes everyday and has shown us that he can perform on the big stage.

His versatility and athleticism is very important to our team, and just like the last few off seasons he is working extremely hard and continues to add to his game.”
