TrayVonn Wright finished with a huge double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds to help the traveling Leicester Riders extend their great start to the season to 7-0.

The Riders made the long trip to Scotland to take on the Rocks in a game which saw a slow start. Both sides struggled to covert shots to settle into the game however early baskets from Jamell Anderson and a big three from Conner Washington helped the Riders to take the lead by a single point at the end of the first quarter.

Drew Sullivan pushed the Riders forward in the second quarter with his all round play, allowing the team to answer the rocks on each score. A couple of big threes for the Rocks helps them to a small lead before a scrappy period of play that saw the Riders stay close to finish the half five points adrift of the home team, 32-27.

Riders rallied behind scored from Sullivan and Wright early in the second quarter to pull level with the Rocks. The home side were able to pull back into the game and open a small lead to begin the final quarter. With the game tied in the fourth quarter Anderson was able to covert a three point play for the Riders to take the lead before Watson knocked down two free-throws to extend the lead to 5 with less than three minutes to go.

Foul trouble that plagued the Rocks meant Riders were able to extend the lead at the line to open a ten point lead before the Rocks responded with a big three to cut back towards the Riders inside the final minutes of the game. Sullivan steadied the team with a basket inside the final minute which was enough to see them take the victory, 68-76.
