Leicester Riders picked up a 99-91 win against the Plymouth Raiders to complete a perfect double header weekend.
Plymouth came out on fire in the opening quarter, taking a 36-21 lead after just ten minutes. Riders settled into the game and began to push their way back towards Plymouth.
Down the stretch Jamell Anderson made his presence felt on the offensive glass with two put backs for the Riders. Tyler Bernardini, who struggled from the floor early, knocked down two big shots for the Riders whilst the backcourt combination of Watson and Washington disrupted the Plymouth offence to take victory and complete a good double header weekend for the Leicester team.
Riders are back in action next weekend against the Cheshire Phoenix at Loughborough University on Saturday 18th October, 7.30pm tip.
Doors open at 6.30pm and tickets are available in advance HERE.
