Supporters Club Raise Valuable Funds

The Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders Supporters Club has grown and grown over the past couple of seasons, and this is evident in the success of the latest two events that they have put on, a 12 hour Sponsored Darts Marathon and a Skittles and Quiz evening. The Darts Marathon, held across two venues, the Sileby Conservative Club and the Free Trade Inn, raised a staggering £1314.00 for the Riders Hoops4Health community programme.

Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders are celebrating their first visit to the BBL Cup last four after a late burst saw them past Worcester Wolves. After Tack Minor went off early on due to an eye injury, the Riders were led to victory by a massive 38 points from Bradd Wierzbicki. Jason Johnson provided able back up in the second half with 17 points, whilst Minor, Tony Windless and Lataryl Williams all had 9 points.
